Replit Deployments alternatives for keeping a Replit-built app live
Replit is an outstanding place to build: Agent writes the app, the workspace runs it, and you never open a terminal. Keeping the finished app live is a subscription question. Core is $20/mo ($18/mo billed annually) with $20 of monthly credits, Pro is $100/mo ($90/mo annually) with $100 of credits, and deployments consume credits rather than costing a flat amount. Hostwares is not a builder. It is where the finished app runs, at a pack price that does not change with how much you built that month.

When to stay with Replit Deployments
Stay in Replit while you are still building. The workspace, Agent and instant preview are better at building than anything here, and a subscription you would keep anyway already covers a deployment. Move when the app is finished and the subscription exists only to keep it online, when you want a bill that is the same in a quiet month, or when you want a database you can back up and restore yourself.

- • Replit does not publish a per-hour deployment rate on the pricing page we could read as text, so the calculator compares the subscription that keeps a deployment alive with a pack over the same months.
- • Flat for the pack's term. Bandwidth is not metered, there is no per-seat fee, and payment comes before the build starts.
Moving off Replit Deployments?
Point HW — our AI DevOps agent — at your repo and it migrates your Replit Deployments app for you: detects the framework, wires the database, sets env vars, and configures SSL. No manual reconfiguration.
- Managed Postgres, MySQL, Redis or bring your own — env vars injected automatically.
- One-click SSL, global CDN, and flat container pricing — no per-deploy credits.
- The AI does the migration — you review and go live.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to keep a Replit app deployed?
At least the subscription: Core at $20/mo or $18/mo billed annually, Pro at $100/mo or $90/mo annually. Deployments draw on the plan's credits, and Replit's pricing page does not publish a flat per-deployment rate.
Can I move a Replit app to Hostwares?
Yes. Push the project to GitHub, connect the repository, and the framework is detected and built. Environment variables move across; if you used Replit's database, export it and restore into a database pack.
What does it cost on Hostwares?
$1/mo for the Starter pack, or $15/mo for the Standard pack with a managed database. Flat for the term, regardless of traffic.
Is Hostwares a replacement for the Replit editor?
No. Keep building in Replit if you like it. Hostwares is where the finished app runs.
Where do the Replit numbers come from?
From replit.com/pricing and Replit's usage-based billing doc, read on the dates under the table. Confirm there; vendors change prices.
