Can my site reach the database privately?+
Yes. Sites and databases in your account share a private network, so traffic never leaves our infrastructure and you do not need to expose a public port.
How do I get the connection string?+
It is generated when the database is created and available in the dashboard, the hw CLI, and via the API. HW can also set it directly on a site for you.
Do databases use the same packs as sites?+
Yes - one universal pack runs one deployment, whether that is a site, a database or a service. Nothing is priced differently for being a database.
Can I resize later?+
Yes. Move to a larger pack at any time; upgrades are prorated.
