Firebase Studio makes building applications with AI much easier. But what happens when you want to run the application somewhere else? The answer depends on which Firebase services your application actually uses.
Export Your Code
First, push your Firebase Studio project to GitHub. Your application is now a normal code repository.
Check Your Dependencies
Before deployment, check whether your project depends on: Firestore Firebase Authentication Firebase Storage Cloud Functions Firebase-specific APIs Your frontend code may be easy to move, while Firebase-specific backend features may require additional migration work.
Deploy the Application
Connect the GitHub repository to Hostwares. Select your application branch and configure the required environment variables. If your application needs a database, you can use a production database alongside the application.
**Add Your Domain ** Once deployed, connect your custom domain and configure HTTPS. The important thing is to understand what your application actually depends on before moving it. Your Firebase Studio project is code. Your production infrastructure doesn't have to be the same place where you built it.
