If your application is deployed on Hostwares and uses Supabase as its backend, the connection happens through your application's configuration.
Prepare Supabase
Make sure your Supabase project is ready. You should know which tables, authentication providers, storage buckets, and APIs your application needs.
Find the Project URL
Open your Supabase project settings and copy the project URL. You'll also need the appropriate public client key for browser-side applications.
Open Your Hostwares Deployment
Open the application deployment in your Hostwares dashboard. Find the environment variable configuration.
Add the Variables
Add the variables expected by your application. For example, a Next.js or Vite application may use environment variables for the Supabase URL and public key.
Redeploy
After adding the variables, rebuild or redeploy the application so the configuration becomes available to the deployed application.

Use Self-Hosted Supabase If Needed
Hostwares also provides a self-hosted Supabase deployment where the complete Supabase stack runs on dedicated resources.
That gives you another architecture option when you want both the application and backend infrastructure under your hosting environment.
